I really believe this is the way—thank you for being so candid. Perfection is so easy to chip away, and this shouldn’t ever be about individuals anyway. Maybe the way to greet these spaces where our very presence evokes guilt and sheepish apologies should be “We’re here to change systems, not shame individuals for wanting better”.

Love that Nick and I totally agree. We need to keep our focus on the systems and gentle on the people that are captured in them.
